This jukebox-style musical tells the story of singer-songwriter Carole King’s rise to fame. The Valley Jazz Cooperative Alumni Band returns to Ravenscroft Hall for an event featuring two big bands of talented former VJC members performing under the direction of founder Russell Schmidt. Established in 2022, the Alumni Band allows graduates of the VJC – a free jazz education initiative for middle and high school students – to reunite and showcase their artistry.
