Ales on Rails does just that. The party starts on the depot patio with a lunch of grilled sausages, potato salad and hot pretzels. TUESDAY 10/16 Corn Maze 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Apple Annie’s, 2081 W. Hardy Road, Willcox. October just wouldn’t be complete without taking a walk through a corn maze. Luckily, Apple Annie’s has just the thing. Travel through the twists and turns of 20 acres and find your way to the end. There are two levels of difficulty — put yourself to the test, then head to the country store for a refreshing pumpkin treat. Admission is $8. For more: appleannies.com. SUNDAY 10/21 The Great Pumpkin Race 7:30 a.m. at Buckelew Farms, 17000 W. Ajo Way, Tucson. It’s the Great Pumpkin Race, Charlie Brown. Walk or run on a traditional cross-country course through Buckelew Farms and finish through the haunted corn maze. Once the race is over, enjoy activities like pumpkin carving and face painting. The kids race starts at 7:30, so make sure to get there early to miss the entry fee into the farm. Registration is $18. For more: azroadrunners.org. MONDAY 10/22 Taste of Flagstaff 6 – 9 p.m. at the Little America Hotel, 2515 E. Butler Ave., Grand Ballroom, Flagstaff. This event promises a little bit of everything, showcasing the town of Flagstaff. Local restaurants will be serving their dishes while you listen to live music and of course make sure to enter the raffle. Benefits will go toward the Victim Witness Services of Coconino County. Prescott Palooza will feature various local restaurants showing off their best drinks and dishes, live music and just a general good time. Tickets are $15 for adults and 5 and under are free.
