Oak St. 602-621-1836 Instructors Lawrence and Claudia Garcia may be relatively new to the Valley’s salsa scene, but they have already garnered a loyal following for their energetic, upbeat lessons. Their weekly mambo classes are some of the largest in town because so many dancers love their detailed and dedicated instruction, using lead-and-follow technique that helps people of every skill level. Indian School Road 602-900-4959 Beginners who think they have two left feet, dancers with years of experience, and everyone in between are welcome at this dance studio, where multiple dance styles are taught in a fun, inviting atmosphere. Fred Astaire offers a full range of Ballroom and Latin dance lessons, with certified instructors who are constantly training and improving. There’s private lessons and group classes specializing in Latin- American dancing such as Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Jive, Rumba and Samba. She studied dance in New York and Arizona, and earned a BA in education from ASU. More than 40 years later, the studio offers children’s classes and special group and private lessons for Tap, Ballet and Ballroom couples.
