The white- picket fence, c h a n d e l i e r s and a collection of mirrors adorning the walls makes you feel at home in what happens to be not only an impressive restaurant but the second oldest home in Scottsdale. In 1939, a quaint home was built on a large lot. Lester and Labeula Mowry built the 1,200-square-foot home on their land based on plans found in a farmer’s magazine. At the time, dairy cows wandered through the yard and the short, unpaved Main Street was the most important road to and from their house.
