Unlike other, he does so wearing an insulin pump to maintain his diabetes. He’s currently gearing up for the Nov. 5 Walk to Cure Diabetes bene fi ting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, with a fundraiser planned for Oct. 22. A month before his fi fth birthday, the Arcadia boy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
