McDonald Dr., Phoenix A hike up Camelback Mountain may be the outdoor adventure you’ve been looking for. The trails are open from sunrise to sunset, but we’d recommend getting there early in the summertime. Bobby’s Rock Trail is perfect for a pleasant stroll up the mountain, while hikers can find more difficult paths on the Echo Canyon Summit and Cholla Trails (6131 E. Cholla Lane, Phoenix).
