p a i d a d v e r t i s e m e n t From the Marine Corps to Main Street Each November, Veterans Day reminds me where I came from and why I do what I do. Before I was helping people buy and sell homes in Arcadia, I was serving in the United States Marine Corps. Those years shaped the way I see the world. In the Marines, you learn quickly that nothing worth doing is easy. You learn to show up early, to stay calm under pressure, and to take responsibility for every outcome. You learn that your word matters. Those lessons stuck with me long after I left active duty, and they’ve guided how I run my life and my business ever since. When I founded The Brokery, I wanted it to stand for something real. Something rooted in discipline, integrity, and service. That is why I created something of my own rather than joining a corporate platform that I didn’t believe in fully. We are proud to stand alone as an independent and Relentlessly Local™ real estate company where our mission is to provide the best service possible to the neighborhood. Whether it’s preparing a home for market, negotiating a deal, or making sure every detail is handled the right way, our approach comes straight from that Marine Corps mindset: no shortcuts, no excuses, no half-measures. This Veterans Day, I’m especially grateful for the men and women who served and for their families who carry so much of the weight behind the scenes. Service doesn’t end when you take off the uniform. It just takes new forms: raising families, building businesses, volunteering locally, and contributing to something bigger than yourself. For me, that “something bigger” is this community. Arcadia has given me a place to raise my family and build a company I’m proud of. The least I can do is serve it with the same pride and dedication I gave my country. To my fellow veterans here and across Phoenix, thank you for your service and for continuing to make a difference every day.
