FEBRUARY 202 10  Fine Art and Wine Festival 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Kierland Commons, 15205 N. Kierland Blvd., Scottsdale. Main Street will have the vino flowing at this year’s festival. Guests will find more than 100 world-class artists showcasing their wares in an outdoor gallery while 15 of the region’s best wineries pour more than 150 different wines to try. Chandler Blvd. The ninth annual Chandler Film Festival will feature 150 films from more than 35 countries. Guests can also enjoy an opening ceremony, industry workshops, a digital film market and expo, the City of Chandler’s Multicultural Festival, an award ceremony, panel discussions, after- parties and celebrity appearances. This multi-cultural festival hosts international craft vendors, food trucks, performances, entertainment, activities, dancing, music, shopping and more – with one common goal: to support Arizona’s diverse communities. Tickets to this all-ages event are $10 for one day, $15 for two days. azfestivalofnations.org  Birds and Barrels Wine Run 9 a.m. at Birds and Barrels Vineyard, 5000 E. Arzberger Road, Willcox. If you don’t like walking or running, maybe the promise of a little vino will interest you in this 5K. Guests will cruise around the vineyard, taking in the views of the mountains and orchards, and afterwards, enjoy a drink or two. The Arizona Renaissance Festival promises medieval fun all in one. Highlights include a 14-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, arts and crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a feast with all the fixings. There will be costumed characters, roasted turkey legs, games of chance and skill and more. Featuring more than 2,100 horses competing for over $1 million, attendees will witness a variety of showings at the 70th annual Arabian Horse Show. There will also be an immersive experience, a fine art exhibit, and craft and shopping vendors. The Arabian Horse Association of Arizona will celebrate National Arabian Horse Day on February 19 with events and activities. Pima Road, Scottsdale. The 24th annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival will have over 500 beers on tap from over 100 different breweries. Various food vendors, live music and entertainment, beer education panels, and “strong man” games will also happen. General admission is $55 and includes 24 tasting tickets and a commemorative cup. Scottsdale Road. The 21st annual Arizona Fine Art Expo invites guests to meet artists in their creative space and immerse themselves in the process. Throughout the event, 120 on-site artists will showcase multiple mediums, such as bronze, stone carving, metal and wood sculptures, southwest art, western art and mid-century modern pieces.
