Attorney, philanthropist and Phoenix Heart Ball Chairman Pamela Risoleo’s team of over 100 Valley women includes eight Arcadians who shared with us their reasons “why” they volunteer. Dr. Ingrid Haas, M.D. Obstetrics and Gynecology “I have been a member of the Heart Ball Committee since 2011. I was fortunate enough to serve as vice chair in 2018 and am currently president of the Phoenix Division of the American Heart Association. My ‘why’ is my father, my husband, and the knowledge, as a physician, of how heart disease impacts all of us in some way.” Kristine Thompson CEO and Co-Founder of Nini Designs “I have been honored to serve on the Heart Ball Committee for 20 years, including chairing the 60th Heart Ball in 2019. My ‘why’ is my grandfather, grandmother, father, and husband who have all dealt with various heart-related issues.
