BTC was founded in 2001 by two Phoenix moms who wanted to teach their sons the importance of giving back to the community. BTC is geared toward boys in 7th through 12th grade. The timeline is anywhere from one week to three months. FRIDAY 3/4  SATURDAY 3/5 McDowell Mountain Music Festival Gates open at 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 N. 3 rd St., Phoenix. Started back in 2004, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival has grown into a two-day must-see event featuring more than 20 musical acts, including Zhu, Leon Bridges and Jai Wolf. There will also be food trucks, activities, a vendor marketplace and a beer garden. Proceeds from the concert will benefit three local charities.
