History comes to life today as the redcoats storm the museum, and you can be part of the action. Guests can explore 18th-century camps, participate in educational demonstrations and witness battles between – you guessed it – the rebels and the redcoats. Take the day, relax and stroll through more than 165 juried fine arts displays. Artists from the U.S. and abroad will be on-site showcasing their paintings, sculptures and photography while guests sip domestic and imported wines. For $13, patrons will receive a commemorative wine glass along with various tastings. There will also be live musical entertainment. Guests will see various acts, such as fire-eating and breathing, magic and illusions, crossbow artistry, acrobatic stunts, sword swallowing, and so much more, all set to a rock n’ roll soundtrack. Northern Ave., Glendale. World of Illumination, the world’s largest drive- through animated light show producer, unveiled an all-new theme park called Candy Rush in Glendale. The display boasts more than two million LED twinkle lights synchronized to holiday classics. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. El Tour de Tucson is a fundraising ride that captivates nearly 6,000 cyclists of all ages. Participants ride either the 100-, 57- or 28-mile rides. A Fun Ride consisting of 10-, 5- and 1-mile rides is also an option. Cyclists can win a finisher’s medal and then attend the post- ride party complete with music, a beer garden, food vendors, kids’ activities, and an award ceremony.
