34 SEPTEMBER 2021 By Rachael Bouley Shared passions for film and storytelling brought a tight-knit team of women together to form The Good Vibe Media, a video production agency with plans to open a studio in Arcadia. The female-owned and operated agency has built a reputation in the Phoenix videography scene by working with local businesses. The team includes founder, executive producer and former Arcadia Titan Carly Gilleland, editor Chloe VanMeveren and marketing manager and videographer Nicki Arnberger. After building the business from the ground up and gaining a trusted client base throughout the Arcadia and Scottsdale area, the group said they are now looking ahead to the next chapter and preparing to open a studio inside The Marilyn at 46th St. and Thomas Road. Long before Gilleland founded The Good Vibe, she took a film media class at Arcadia High School that opened the doors to her future career. She created a short documentary on her sister with special needs and discovered the positive impact of her storytelling, which led her to film school. She attended Santa Barbara City College and Cal State University Long Beach. After graduation, the dedicated videographer moved home to Arizona and joined forces with VanMeveren and Arnberger to bring the collaboration to life. “We all have different backgrounds in video production but in one way or another found a passion and love for creating video,” Arnberger said. “It has come full circle now with us operating out of Arcadia and opening up our studio there. We now are a video production agency, have five full-time female filmmakers and produce high- quality video for brands, weddings and events.” They are also not strangers to The Marilyn, where they kept office space for a few years before building The Good Vibe studios, which they plan to open to the public at the beginning of 2022. “Our goal is really to elevate the video production experience for our clients as well as uplift other creatives in the Phoenix area to have the perfect location for all of their productions,” Arnberger said. There will be four booking options: Blank Canvas, Modern, Boho, and Ethereal. Each studio offers a different ambiance for diverse creative content, including photo, video and podcast recording. In addition to building their dream studio, they have a Good Vibe give-back program where they select a nominated individual or organization to receive a complimentary brand video each quarter. It’s part of their mission to leave a lasting positive impact. “Being able to tell our clients’ stories and share their different perspectives and mission statements through unique video is special,” Arnberger said. “Over the years, we have worked with many types of people in different industries, so we are constantly evolving and learning as a team.
