Drinkwater Blvd. Folks are welcome to come out and experience three days of art, music and food at the annual Scottsdale Arts Festival. There will be over 170 artists from around the country on- site showcasing their pieces. Guests can also enjoy live music, temporary art projects, activities for kids and food and beverages including a wine and beer tasting garden. Tickets are $12 for a single day. For more: scottsdaleartsfestival.org. SATURDAY 3/14 St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Faire 10 a.m. in Downtown Phoenix, 3rd St. and Sheridan. This St. Patrick’s Day head downtown and catch the festivities – starting with a parade. There will be marching bands, dance performances and bagpipes. After, head to the Irish Faire, with live music and entertainment, food and drinks, a vendor market and activities for the kids. Admission is $12. Celebrate the Hawaiian culture at the 26th annual Aloha Festival. This event will feature all things Hawaiian, Tahitian and Samoan as well as other South Pacific cultures. Benefit 6-10 p.m. at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn, 5402 E. Lincoln Dr., Scottsdale. Join Hospice of the Valley in celebrating their annual fundraising event. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, art, wines, and chances to win trips to Greece or Triple Creek Ranch and other experiences. NEWS BRIEFS ARCADIA CAR SHOW The 3rd annual Arcadia Car Show will happen April 4 from 7-11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, 4225 N. 56th St. Exhibitor registration is currently open for those who would like to be in the show; entries include cars, trucks and specialty vehicles. It costs $20 to register. Trophies will be given out for Best in Show and Best in Arcadia – peoples’ choice. For more: acmna.org. BUNKER LABS NONPROFIT Bunker Labs, a national nonprofit helping veterans, military spouses and active military entrepreneurs celebrated the official opening of the Phoenix chapter in late February. This nonprofit seeks to encourage veterans and military to start their own business by providing them proper training and resources. The Phoenix chapter is the first in Arizona.
