This month it is holding its 15th annual Garden Tea event with proceeds going toward funding services. Enjoy a brunch meal, silent auction and raffles, reflections and testimonials. The 20th annual Beauty to the Rescue fundraiser is here to pamper for a good cause. Attendees can provide a minimum donation and get a haircut, blow dry style, makeup touch-up or deep conditioning mask to support the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition. Six of Phoenix’s acclaimed chefs will prepare a dish for a six-course brunch experience with the help of recipients of Corbin’s Legacy, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children. Second St. Now in its 33rd season, the Sunday A’Fair celebrates local music and art with free outdoor concerts in Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, an arts-and-crafts market, activities for kids and free docent-led tours of the sculptures in the Zoo Move and Groove 5K Festival 6 a.m. registration at the Phoenix Zoo, 455 N. Galvin Pwky., Phoenix. Help the Phoenix Zoo raise funds for a new meerkat habitat at this year’s Move and Groove 5K. Folks are welcome to choose the leisure 1K or the “snooze” option – donate $25 and don’t get out of bed! After the race, there will be a fitness festival with vendors and activities for the kids. Central Ave., Phoenix. The Indian Fair and Market is one of Heard Museum’s longest held events and the largest art market of its kind. There will be over 600 native artists on-site showcasing their mediums, plus live entertainment, storytelling, arts and crafts, artist interactions and a best of show award ceremony. Tickets are $22.
