The Children’s Museum presents Day Camp, a place where kids ages 5-8 can come hang out during winter break. This event is like a science field trip with a boozy twist. This month’s theme is New Year’s revolution. This Latin holiday celebrates when the three wise men followed the star to Bethlehem to give gifts to baby Jesus. Celebrate with Mariachi music, specialty food, games, activities, and even meet the three kings – when they arrive on camels just like they did back then. Tickets are $25 cultures. This monthly pop-up market is a family friendly event with over 45 vendors selling their wares. Attendees will find vintage furniture, decor, clothing, knick-knacks, handmade jewelry, art and crafts. Resolution Run 7:30 a.m. starting at the West Buttes Parking Lot at Papago Park on Galvin Pkwy., Phoenix. It’s hard to keep New Year’s resolutions, so this run can be the perfect start. Head to Papago Park for a 5K run/walk that circles the golf course and passes by the scenic buttes. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and there will be medals for those who place.
