Now in its fourth year, this festival will showcase local and state wines and beers, food tastings, live music, a vendor village and winery tours. Tickets are $45 with VIP packages available. If adventure is calling, you’ll want to check out this event first. The Overland Expo is for outdoor enthusiasts and is all about traveling, camping and being outdoors. There will be 175+ classes, training sessions, demos, a trade-show, outfitting services, a vendor village and a camping experience – all rolled into one weekend. Individual tickets start at $240. For more: overlandexpo.com. SATURDAY 5/18 Yarnell Daze Festival 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Happy Way and Hwy. 89, Yarnell. Take a trip up north and visit Yarnell for the 50th annual Yarnell Daze Festival. Kicking off with a parade at 10 a.m., the day will have activities for the whole family. Three bands will keep the tunes going as you explore the vendor village, kids zone, art show, raffle and car show. The Music in May series presents Rhythm Edition, a show band with seven lead singers, each with their own style of vocals. SATURDAY 5/25 Wine, Beer and Spirits Festival 12 – 7 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Park, 3105 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra Vista. Sometimes you want to reward yourself after a long week of work, and this festival is the place to do just that. Arizona’s best wines, brews and spirits will be ready for your sampling pleasure. Historic Home and Building Tour 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Spook Hall, 260 Hull Ave., Jerome. We’ve all heard the tales of the haunted buildings in Jerome. Now, you can see them for yourself at the 52nd annual Historic Home and Building Tour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, because there’s a lot of walking; and bring your camera.
