Indian School Road, Phoenix. Calling all new moms. The Happy Mom School is a new-mommy support group for when your baby is up to 12 weeks old. What’s Up on Mars? 6 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale. We haven’t quite made it to Mars yet, but we can still learn about what’s going on there. Join Dr. Tanya Harrison, planetary scientist and director of research for ASU’s Space Technology and Science Initiative, as she updates guests on the human-built robots on Mars, the Insight Lander probe landing and more. The Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame has inducted 100 women since 1980. Four living and four historical ladies will be inducted for their contributions in community service, business, arts and law. This class, taught by Sue Hunter, will show painters the process of creating a masterpiece through organization, value and surroundings. Head up to the Musical Instrument Museum for the Young Musicians Spring Concert, presented by Arizona Musicfest. Featuring classic talent from all around Arizona, Girls on the Run 5K 8 a.m. at the Wesley Bolin Plaza, 1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix. Tie up your sneakers and get ready to run and inspire. The Girls on the Run organization is a 10-week program for girls in 3rd to 8th grade to gain confidence, character and connections through running and other activities.
