FRIDAY 3/22 Burger Battle 7 – 9:30 p.m. at the Scottsdale Waterfront, 7135 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale. It’s time for the best battle of them all – the battle of the burger. More than 15 local restaurants will showcase their burgers and we the people get to choose which burger is best. Sample as many as you like; there will also be fries, shakes and drinks to sample, as obstacle course, robots, face painting, live bug encounters as well as games and activities. The 5th annual Arcadia Cares: Food for Kidz Packathon is back this year and ready to lend a helping hand. The community is welcome to volunteer to help pack meals for underprivileged families. The goal is to pack at least 143,166 meals at this event, which will bring the five-year total to 500,000. Volunteers can sign up for one-hour shifts at: popphoenix.org.
