Dr. McAlister specializes in foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries, such as fusions, total ankle replacements, and bunion corrections. Dr. McAlister is the first foot specialist at Arcadia Orthopedics. The practice treats all major joints, sports injuries and orthopedic and podiatric conditions. NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING Arcadia’s 32nd Annual Neighborhood Meeting event will be held Saturday, March 2, from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th St. This meeting is a way for Arcadians to get together and address concerns in the neighborhood with elected officials and city representatives. On deck for this year’s meeting is the Camelback Mountain Preserve Park, final design for the 56th Street Improvement Project, re-development of Camel Square, and Arcadia preservation concerns. Old Town Scottsdale welcomed Ollie Pop, a gourmet popcorn shop, in November 2018. Located on 5th Ave. and Marshall Way, Ollie Pop got its name from the owner’s puppy, who is also the Chief Barking Officer. Ollie Pop shares 10 percent of its proceeds with local animal charities.
