22 NOVEMBER 2018 On Monday, September 24, 2018, Arcadia resident Bobby Beers earned his Eagle. He became the 210th Eagle Scout to come out of Arcadia’s Troop 6. “Getting my Eagle was the culmination of years of experiences,” said Beers. “It was really rewarding to see how happy and proud all of the people were who had been with me the entire time. I couldn’t have done it without them.” Beers’ Scouting journey started in 1st Grade, as a Tiger Cub Scout in Arcadia’s Pack 6. “I always felt like Arcadia was very kid- focused when it came to Scouts,” said Beers. “The kids were allowed to lead in a lot of different ways, and I think those leadership and public speaking opportunities were great experiences. From the people I’ve met to the skills I’ve learned, I loved my time in Scouts.” Another Eagle for Troop 6 Bobby Beers is the 210th Eagle Scout to come out of Arcadia’s Troop 6. Mark A.
