There will be a full day of workshops where you can learn all the moves of afro-cuban dance with a little time for lunch and relaxing in between. Registration starts at $20. If you’re looking for something to do before you stuff your bellies with turkey for the holiday, head to Sedona for the 9th annual Turkey Trot. The course will loop around on Soldier Pass Road. You can also enter the Iron Turkey Challenge, where you carry your Thanksgiving meal with you on the run. Medals and trophies will be handed out. Registration is $40. For more: sedonarunning.com. FRIDAY 11/23 Swiss Village Christmas Lighting 5:30 at the Swiss Village Plaza, 616 N. Beeline Hwy., Payson. Santa’s coming a little early this year. More than 4,000 people attended 2017’s lighting event – the whole town will be merry and bright. There will be games, shopping, and of course, Santa will Christmas. The Christmas Ball at Yuma Civic Center will be decked out in all your favorite Christmas decorations, with music, dancing, food and dessert to get you into the holiday spirit.
