Metallica fans get ready for a night of rock and light. The AZ Science Center will be jamming out to all of Metallica’s greatest tunes while putting on a laser show that’ll blow your mind! Ken Koshio’s passion for Japanese Taiko (traditional percussion) is evident in this year’s Taiko Extravaganza, “The Tree of Life.” Watch as Koshio combines music, dance and expression to create “life beats” and connect the audience to the past and the future. This is the 5th annual Memorial Run for the 19 men who lost their lives in the Yarnell Fire. There are 19K, 10K and 5K races to choose from, and each runner will receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal, plus a pre- and post-race brunch. Registration is $30-$75.
