Inspired by 17th Century French salons, this is a get together where the conversation centers on literary and philosophical ideas. Hosted by ASU Lecturer of English and the first- ever city of Phoenix poet laureate Rosemarie Dombroski, the cocktails and conversation will be both entertaining and educational. Were your spirits lifted when they went local artist Kathy Cano-Murillo as she takes you on a private tour of the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibition at the Heard Museum. Murillo, whose art is known as the “Crafty Chica,” will share her insights and personal perspective on Kahlo and Rivera while showing attendees the exhibition.
