This train ain’t leavin’ the station just yet! Join the Flagstaff Visitors Center for all things train-related, including a train robbing reenactment, kiddie caboose train rides, live music, a railroad display, cake-cutting, as well as tours and raffles available for purchase. There will also be vendor booths on site from the Grand Canyon Railway, Operation Lifesaver, Search & Rescue, Verde Canyon Railroad, the Flagstaff Model Train Club and more. There’s nothing quite like enjoying the beauty of a state park while hearing mariachi music in the background, but at the Mariachi Festival, that’s what’s going down! There will be a variety of mariachi bands playing on stage while attendees can learn about the heritage and culture of the music while enjoying Mexican food, hot dogs, hamburgers and kettle corn.
