The second round of the Seasonal Table Dinner Series is here, and this month’s theme is West Coast California Italian. Come on out to Fear Farm and watch the sixth annual Arizona Balloon Classic light up the sky. Hundreds of balloons will be on-site and getting ready to fly. There will be a “hound and hare” race to see which of the balloons can float the fastest! Also a vendor village will be available for shopping, food court for eating and a family fun zone with games, activities and crafts. FRIDAY, MARCH 3- SUNDAY, MARCH 5 McDowell Mountain Music Festival Gates open at 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, at Margaret T. Hance Park, 1202 N. 3rd St., Phoenix. Started back in 2004, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival has grown into a three-day must-see event, featuring more than 20 musical acts. This year, Flume, The Shins, Chromeo and other musical acts will hit the stage. There will also be food trucks, a kids zone, a vendor marketplace and beer garden. Proceeds from the concert will benefit three local charities. Ticket prices range from $45 to $200 with VIP packages available. For more: mmmf.net.
