P R E S E R V E C E L E B R A T E I N S P I R E P A I D A D V E R T I S E M E N T O n November 16th, the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Com- mission overwhelmingly voted to support the David Wright House application to declare the approximately six acre property an Historic Landmark. The landmark vote was the first step in protecting the David Wright House from a future threat of demolition. The Landmark designation advances our mission to preserve and maintain the David Wright House and grounds, celebrating the artistic legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright at the site of one of his most unique and architecturally significant houses through tours, educational programs, exhibitions, lectures, research fa- cilities, events and performances, and inspiring creativity in future gen- erations of artists and architects. We thank our more than 200 supporters in a‹endance at the Historic Preservation Commission, the authors of more than 850 le‹ers in sup- port of landmark designation, our more than 300 registered supporters in Arcadia and our more than 3,000 registered supporters worldwide.
