The 16th annual Family Fun Day is back again, featuring this summer’s exhibit, Family Matters. This exhibit focuses on the importance of family, including games, books and a selfie station. SUNDAY JULY 12 Experience France 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Musical Instrument Museum, 4725 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix. The MIM is bringing France to the Valley. This 5K’s donations go to the Sojourner Center’s efforts to help the homeless. The course is through Big Surf Park and around the greenbelt – no streets involved. Registration costs $30-$40 and participants must also bring two items of clothing or school supplies for donation. Throughout the course, “splashers” will cool you down with water balloons and super soakers. There are also contests for the best time and best goggles.
