Stelari has been in the business of chic yoga apparel for everyday life since launching in 2012. In August 2014, Kim carried the clothing brand from California to Arizona after her husband was recruited to the Arizona headquarters of a structural fi eld company. Kim says, “I was immediately attracted to the Arcadia neighborhoods for their family friendly appeal, beautiful homes and grassy yards.” Stelari is Kim’s life shown through fashion. Kim’s perseverance and love for fashion paved the way to attend design classes which gave a deep understanding of the fashion industry. Having a marketing and finance degree under her belt, entrepreneurial skills and a passionate drive allowed Kim to create her own line of clothing which symbolizes an association to the world around her. Kim wears the title of entrepreneur, mom, yogi & wife. With two children in Hopi school, and as a new transplant to the area, Kim’s heartfelt appreciation for the yoga community she has found in Arcadia and the general Phoenix area can be felt through her words. Kim has been practicing yoga for 15 years and has a passion for the meaning in her yoga clothing. For Kim, there is meaning layered in her fashion collections in addition to the natural clothing being made from recycled water bottles. Both are of high importance to Kim and the message she hopes to deliver. “Creating a line that embraced my love of fashion, yoga and fi tness is the clearest extension of who I am at my core and the essence of my life,” said Kim. Kim has strived to live her life in what she describes as, fi nding her rhythm. It’s her encouragement to the community at large, yoga or not to fi nd that personal rhythm. Kim describes it as, “A quiet focus of mind. Being in the present and getting out of my head. Each person has their rhythm when they get out of their mind and are fully alive in that moment.” Designer discovers her passion through new clothing line Arcadia mom Kim Roach hopes to turn her fi nance degree and love of fashion into a successful yoga wear company.
