Since then, countries throughout the world have created their own traditions to celebrate a new year. Across the globe people ring in the new year with one thing in common and that’s the opportunity for a new beginning. The concept of a fresh start is enlightening for anyone who’s looking ahead and ready to embrace the upcoming calendar year. MEMORY JAR This year say hello to the new year, the new you and the new adventures of 2015 that have yet to be pursued by creating a memory jar. All you need is a pen, paper and a creative mind that’s ready to jot down all the memories of 2015. Designing a memory jar is an excellent way to cherish the noteworthy moments that happen everyday in our lives. Whenever something memorable happens – no matter how little or large the occasion is – write it down and insert the paper into the memory jar. Who knows what could end up in the bottom of the container at the end of 2015? The memory jar can house the entire family’s different versions of “memories to remember.” You can include the dates of your loved one’s birthday party, when funny joke you heard the cashier say in the checkout lane. The whole purpose of the jar is to commemorate the moments that made the year one to remember.
