But I think that if you want it bad enough, that you’ll make it,” she said. “There are a lot of avenues to get there. And you just have to keep improving, and sometimes it’s not about you personally or your talent, it’s more about what the casting director wants or what they’re casting for that particular play. You have to have thick skin. But I think she’s also found that she loves it, and I’m excited for her.” It wasn’t all work and no play for the young actress. We took a picture at nighttime so it looks like a ball of light.” One thing Hayley did manage to do was make friends with the other campers. “We stayed at the Tryp Hotel,” she said. “I made a lot of friends. They were all so nice.” As for dining in New York, “The food was amazing,” she said. “Then I walked all the fat off that I gained.” Any great actress can become a chameleon and blend it, as Hayley learned quickly on the streets of New York. “You can tell who are tourists and who are not,” she said. “If you bumped into them, they would say, ‘Sorry.’ But if they lived in New York they wouldn’t.
