But no library card is needed, just the desire to read and share. Neighbors are encouraged to leave a book or take a book, or even better, do both. Landon built the newest Little Free Library in the neighborhood to reflect the colors and style of his home and even included a solar-powered interior light for anyone interested in book browsing in the cooler summer evenings. The couple, who has an eclectically landscaped corner lot in Arcadia, enjoys hearing people stop to look through the books, especially children who get excited about finding a new book. “I love the gathering of our neighbors and sharing the love of reading,” Zeitlin said.
