Last year, however, I decided to go all out. I made big procla- mations about all I would do to make it the best year yet; taking up new hob- bies, reading the books I’d never attempted and losing a few bad habits. I even made a list on oversized, thick paper to hang in my office. And then, in a blink of an eye, the year was over. Christmas was here again, presents were wrapped and I was designing our holiday menu. My list, completely untouched, was hidden in shame in my office closet. Somehow though, I can say that 2013 will be different. I feel that in all we’ve seen, felt and dis- covered over the past year(s), more of my friends, family and even myself understand that we have to find some space to grow, adjust and achieve. We owe it to ourselves, our children and the world. To help us Arcadians start the year off with a bang, we’ve developed a series of Special Sec- tions for you to learn more about homes, health and our neighborhood in 2013. This month, in our inaugural Arcadia News Health and Well- ness edition, we bring you information about finding the right workout, recipes for healthier eating, and a calendar of events to help you get your body moving. I hope you enjoy our Arcadia News Special Sec- tions. If you have thoughts or ideas for future issues please let us know, Amanda@arcadianews.com. See you soon!
