Mrs. PC is the most understanding person I have ever met,” wrote one student on the entry form for Mrs. Perry-Clark’s nomination for Teacher of the Month. Other entries for Mrs. Perry-Clark included high praises for her “musical leadership, boundless energy, persistent enthusiasm, helpful guidance and endless love to each and every student.” Nominated by several parents, students and graduates, Mrs. Perry-Clark has shared her musical gift as a teacher for over 20 years at Christ Lutheran School. Voice choir and hand-bell choirs like the “Resurrection Bells Group” are just a few of the specialty classes she leads. Mrs. P.C. (as she is known to most of her students) and her family also act as gracious volunteers with her husband pitching in when needed at special school performances that need her musical talents. At a recent event her son was running the spotlight, one daughter took care of the make-up and another daughter managed the concessions. Parent Faye Flynn adds: “she directs the Spring Musical, which is the highlight of the year for many of her students.” Student Katrina Fuller sums her opinion up with six simple words: “She is the light of God.” Congratulations to Mrs. Perry-Clark.
