I like to use the free version of Wi-Fi Locator from YOUniversal Ideas on my Samsung Android. Skype There’s still no better app to use when wanting to keep in touch than this classic. Download Skype on your phone and take advantage of free phone calls with other Skype users on cellphones, tablets or computers. Your sister doesn’t know how to use Skype or your grandma is computer illiterate? No worries. You can still take advantage of Skype’s low calling rates and call them on their mobile or landline. Ranging from a plan that’s $4.99 a month to make unlimited calls to a country of your choice, to calls as low as 1.2 cents a minute, there’s something to fi t everyone’s needs. Airlines All of the major airlines have their own mobile apps as well, and con fi rming fl ight details and online check-in have never been easier. Visit your phone’s marketplace to download the app for your airlines. Kaley Kalil is a 25-year-old traveler from Arcadia. Read about her adventures all over the world at kaleysworld.com.
