Works from Kate Cory, Jessie Benton Evans, Majorie Thomas, Lillian Wilhelm Smith, and Claire Dooner-Phillips will be on display as part of an of fi cial Arizona Centennial Legacy Project. The exhibit debuts 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 1. The exhibit will be on display in the Herberger’s Art Gallery through October 2. Each pioneer artist has contributed to the legacy of Arizona through paintings, engravings, dinnerware, book production and illustration, all of which be featured in the exhibit.
