Page 12 May 2011 Hopi teacher Huth to retire By Max McCauley This month a long-time Hopi teacher retires. If you had a child at Hopi during the past 25 years, you probably know her. Joanna Huth has been teaching since 1968. Mrs. Huth has taught third, fourth, and fi fth grade at Hopi. Currently, she is teaching fi fth grade, and has been for the past 10 years. She said she enjoys teaching social studies, especially the years of the Revolutionary War.
