Fable said this year, the organization is focused on the PANDA Healthy Babies Project. The group will be raising money for premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. Twin sisters Lane and Pace Schneider will be strutting the runway in this year’s fashion show. The Schneider family has lived in Arcadia since 1994 and the two girls go to All Saints Episcopal Day School in central Phoenix. The 7-year-olds spend their time doing gymnastics at Hill Beat and previously participated in Arcadia Pony Club. They became involved with PANDA after their mother Alexa attended the fashion show last year. “I think it’s a great organization and it’s important to support a group like PANDA that does this kind of research,” Schneider said. Lane and Pace said that they are excited to be in this year’s show. “We’re doing this to make other people feel better, and we like fashion,” Lane said. “And because we’re helping kids and we get to be sassy,” Pace added. Their mother said it’s great to know there are organizations and research centers doing this good work. “You never know, something like that may happen to your own kids,” she said. The April 16 fashion show will feature 65 children ages 5 to 15 wearing clothes from two local boutiques, Garage and Urban Kidz. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Phoenician. Tickets are $150.
