Page 48 March 2011 Combining pets, photos By Katherine Torres Michelle Pelberg, owner and founder of Cow Dreamz Photography, said she just likes to think of herself as “an animal lover who happens to take photos.” She started Cow Dreamz Photography in 2008 to combine her love of pets with her skills in photography. The Arcadia resident has 13 pets, including three dogs, fi ve snakes, two lizards, a fi sh and two cats. Her love of pets, she said, started in her childhood, when she would fi nd animals and bring them home as pets. “I kind of brought home everything,” she said. “I was constantly coming home with a new snake or lizard or something like that.” Pelberg’s interest in photography started in 1999 when she was attending graphic design school in Phoenix.
